Here’s Inc.com’s list of 6 Ways to Be a Better CEO

  1. Delegate More
  2. Become a Better Judge of People
  3. Communicate Well With Your Board
  4. Get Better at Picking Winning Ideas
  5. Develop a Sense of Humor
  6. Just Be More Patient

Wow, Inc., groundbreaking stuff here.

Well, the purpose of this post wasn’t really to criticize, but rather to illustrate that it’s not really what you do, but who you are that makes you successful. Something I’ve been realizing from reading several blogs, books, articles and web sites about business leadership is that everything that is being taught comes straight from the Bible. If we just focus on being who we were made to be, we’ll achieve whatever success we can handle. It’s that simple.

slimp.net is an adware/spyware fraud scam

I was unable to find information about slimp.net anywhere on the web, so had to write my own post. On a number of occaisions, when I visited my web site, there was evidence that I had been hacked! Somehow, a malicious script was executed which placed an ad banner on my web site for some various pharma-fraud products. (Who else would use malware like slimp.net to sell their products?)

slimp.net placed a sleazy ad banner on my site.

slimp.net placed a sleazy ad banner on my site.

So, the weird part is, I can’t figure out how they’re doing it. As best as I can tell, it’s either a jQuery hack, or else someone within GOOGLE is doing the hacking! (Because I only see the code when I am using the Google Chrome Browser, and when I am linked from Google Search, logged into my Google Account.) When I view the page source, it looks fine. However, when I use the Google Chrome Inspector, as painful as it is, It shows the code in question:

Is anyone else getting spammed by these cyber-criminals at slimp.net? Please comment below?

Try 1 or more of the following:

  1. You need to have a blue birdie twitter button on your blog that says “follow me” (search google images for follow.png)
  2. Follow more people, a certain % think it’s “good manners” to follow those who follow you.
  3. Become more interesting and/or famous and people will think it’s cool to follow you.
  4. Get totally plugged in to twitter – use it all the time, if you can stand to try to find some purpose for it ;)

The smartest companies already realize that it’s the guys working the assembly line that get the best ideas.
